Hello everybody this is the first armylist i created with 6th edition rules. I don't have a lot of experience playing battles but looking forward to get more game experience and maybe even enter a tournament or two in the near future.

I have been collecting chaos for some time now and have build a big army overall and i want to create a balanced and fun list to play with at my local Games workshop. My main focus is plague marines, zombies and typhus i really love their rules and look. These last few days i have checked some armylists on diffrent forums and seen some very interresting Epidemus lists,(i do not own any models from the Daemons list atm wich i want to change soon )

I like to start with a 2000 points list and will make a 1500 list later on.

Please help me out all comments, tips or critism are more then welcome.

My plan is to use the zombies as speedbumps for the enemy or for sitting on objectives. The plague marines will play aggressive and try and take one objective from the enemy along with berserker support. Terminators will be Deep striking where is needed focus on anti vehicles and hard targets. Obliterators will sit in the back with Defiler and deliver fire support for plague marines.
The Daemon prince will Swoop and go for soft targets. Iám not sure what to do with Typhus yet thinking about sticking him with the zombies or with the terminators.

//Iám not sure if berserkers are any good in the 6th edition thinking of switching them out for some obliterators/ hellbrute or another plague marine squad.

Thank you for the comments i removed the berserker squad and added another plague marine squad and an obliterator. I also cleaned the detailed points i added so i hope this is ok.

I was wondering do raptor squads work in 6th edition thinking of taking 5 of them maybe with plasma gun, meltaguns and a flamer just to use for some scare tactics?

Please help me with the list or tactics all comments are welcome.

I think you would be right to dump the Berzerkers. You could easily add some more heavy support that way. Predators are solid for 95 points you get auto cannon and two heavy bolter sponsons. If you find you are lacking big guns you have access for Twin-linked lascannon or two side sponsons fairly cheap. That also gives you the opportunity to run a third obliterator as well.

My advice would be to use Typhus correctly and max out on some Zombies, it's pretty pointless to take hin for 2 squads of 10.

Also drop the Prince, massive point sync for something that can die easily.

Drop the Termies and the defiler also, max out on stuff to tie up your opponent.

You also have no flyer control.

How about something like this:

Typhus: 230pts

Troops:
7x Plague Marines 2x Plasmagun 198
7x Plague Marines 2x Plasmagun 198
7x Plague Marines 2x Plasmagun 198

27x Plague Zombies: total 118
27x Plague Zombies: total 118

Fast
5 Spawn MoN 180
5 Spawn MoN 180
3 Bikers MoN x2 Melta, Combi Melta 100

3x Obliterator, MoN, VotLW, 237
MaulerFiend 120
MaulerFiend 120

1997

You don't need flyer control here as you have soo many bodies on the ground.
You have 10 Spawn, 2 Maulerfiends and a bike squad to get up in your opponents face turn 2 or attack down one flank.

Your opponent should be busy with dealing with your fast wave to allow you to dominate board control with your plasma plagues and zombie squads.

That sounds like a good idea. I don't own any Spawn but will be the first thing on my to buy list among more zombies.

I will add three bikes.

I was thinking of letting the Daemon Prince swoop to avoid most incomming damage to insure his assault turn 2.(and iám really curious how effective the black mace is)

I think this list gives me more flexability and more threats in the first 2 turns for the enemy to focus on wich gives my plague marines time to roll up and take good positions/objectives.

I don't want to remove the Daemon Prince for now just want to see how he does in 6th edition if he fails me he will go.

Any tips or comments are welcome.

they are not worth it for a nurgle army they are too fast and will get too far ahead of the army and get shot down really quickly so i would drop them for buffing ur zombies to 20 strong each if you have the models because they will be a major speedbump for your opponent but one s8-6 (not sure on toughness of zombies) pie plate and they a good chunk of them are gone

also throw in a fist on the plague marine champ because at i3 he will usually be striking last anyways against most cc armies (pray you dont fight cc necron) and you dont want him just sitting there and doing nothing you want him to get a boon roll and turn into a deamon prince and run around laughing his head off as he smashes everything he fights

You're lacking about 2000 points of Khorne Berzerkers(; They always have been bad ass, and always will be. Win or lose blood is being spilled, Khorne is smiling upon us.

If you are going to go plague zombies, go big or go home. You can have 35 models in a unit, so thats how many you should have, thats a lot of wounds to chew through with FNP

Thanks for all the comments i added PowerFists and removed the raptors. I also gave the plague marine squads Gift Of Mutation wich i think is a great ability. Then i made the zombie squads 12 man strong and added another squad of them.(I don't have that amount of zombies atm but i guess i have to improvise )

Also wondering if Dirge Caster on rhino's is worth it or can i pretty much assume they won't reach enemy lines at all?

I would keep the rhino's/dirge casters as they can be useful, just don't bet on them being around for the whole game.

I've seen him run with the blob of Zombies because hell unleashing that Destroyer Hive is pretty nasty and who cares bout losing meat shield zombos. Cram them up the gut and draw lots of fire.

^^^ agreed you should stick typhus in a fearless squad so that he isnt running away like a little girl if you lose a chunk of guys when he could be mauling anything in his path with his manreaper and destroyer hive

Thanks for all the comments. I updated the original topic post with the configured list.

I will run Typhus with the 30 man zombie squad and the 10 man squad will hold down an objective or will act as a flesh cover.
