It's driveable, too.
My favourite board is the one they recently moved - The Assault on Kastoral Novem ork board, amazing to play on.
I really like the LOTR board too, and the Tau one is fun to play.

I like that Tau table. Kinda surprised they didn't just replace them all with RoB tables and official GW terrain and threw all the scratch-built stuff away.

Lord help me I wish I had that sort of time and founding to build such cool tables. I mean come on the bastion with the various defense turrets and the Plasma generator. Come on! I mean who really has that much cash to devote to building a generator out of titian arms?

The winter table is good. It was orginally a normal table and i think they added the snow one winter.
Some of the money required to build the tables is astonishing, but dont forget they are only paying for production costs, they dont have to buy them from the actual GW shop. So its just the price of manufacturing and actual materials which even at a generous 15% of GW shop price is good.
Even so, they are huge, well made and inspiring.

I've been playing WH40K since the early 90's and I have only once ever seen one table that looked that nice. Here you have 10 or more super high quality tables in one place.
Also...I just did a mental tally on how much money is invested in those tables. For what those tables cost to build you could probably fund a couple of extravagant decades playing WH40K at a relatively.

http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/content/article.jsp?catId=&categoryId=2200008§ion=community&aId=6900034a As you can see they have a whole lot of tables with some of the better 15 listed below. They are amazing, costly but amazing. 6x4, like the drop pod board, 8x6. The Tau research station on Vigos is a massive 8x12 I would love to know how much that one cost to make.

I have played on both the Tau board and the Winter one, the only problem with both was footslogging your way across it's that damn big.
