Both of those lists usually play well against every army, even against Necron or Dark Eldar, but i can't really play against IG.

IG just shoots me while i crawl across the table, rapes my stormraven with 2 vendetta, and with the Executioners and Battle Tanks, Manticores, and Demolition Charges and Melta vets he destroys my paladin, killing Draigo (He tanks Insta Death for the paladins) in 2 turns, and seriously crippling my army in the 3rd turn.

What can i do? Help Me Dakka!

I think that you could re-work your librarian and it would really help against IG (and everything else as well.


If all you want are the BRB powers, then you should just take Coteaz. He is 100 points for a LVL 2 that would let you take MSU troops to support your deathstar.
You take a librarian because you want the GK specific powers, rather than the BRB ones.


Librarian (Lv2 only) with Might of Titan, Quicksilver, Sanctuary, and Shrouding.

Shrouding is the main reason to take this guy. Stealth is really good an paladins. It gives you the strong cover saves you need to survive the S8, AP 2 weapons that ruin your day.

Quicksilver, lets you run more Swords, so you still hit first, and still Have better INV saves in combat.

Might of Titan allows you to do more damage, especially to walkers that might bog you down

Sanctuary helps you protect objectives in the late game from contesting assaults. Also, you get free overwatch for stopped charges, and you charge more so you get all your buffs and deny them to the enemy.


You only need LV 2 as you cast 2 spells on your turn and 2 on the enemy turn.
