Greetings again. It’s the Doc, here with another list, taken from previous ones I posted before, and tweaked yet again due to your suggestions and previous experiences. This army list should be a tad bit more shooty than before, with some anti-CC support.

HQ
Overlord w/ Res Orb, MSS, Scythe – 145
PulseTek – 55
LanceTek w/ Gaze of Flame – 45

Elites
5x Deathmarks – 95
5x Deathmarks – 95

Troops
20x Warriors – 260
10x Tesla Immortals – 170
10x Tesla Immortals – 170

Fast Attack
5x Wraiths, 2x Whipcoils – 195

Heavy Support
3x Annihilation Barges – 270
Total: 1500

As done before, the LanceTeks will group with the Immortals, and the Overlord will lead the Warrior blob. Immortal squad with Gaze of Flame will be situated on one side, to be considered bait, while the other Immortals and Warriors will be on the other, capturing objectives as needed. Deathmarks will Deepstrike to attack targets of opportunity, and the Annihilation Barges will hang in the back and provide anti-infantry support. The Wraiths will also hang in the back to counter-charge and tie down CQC units.
Previous lists saw the usage of Triarch Stalkers, either one or two, but I decided to see what it would be like if the points were spent elsewhere. Scarab units were also cut out to allow Wraiths. Again, as with some previous lists, I wonder about its ability to defend against Vehicles. Even with 20-40 glancing shots from Gauss weapons, it may not be enough if my opponent brings in vehicles, especially fliers. Whatever the outcome, the army needs to stay mostly in a tight, mailed fist and act as one force, or be divided and conquered.
I welcome critique and suggestions to improve this list.

If I was you I would break the 20 warriors into 2, 10 man squads. That way you can fire at 2 different targets if need be. And the only way this would back fire is if you play a kill point game. Other wise I like it.

Mesopotamia. The Kingdom Where we Secretly Reign.

I don't know about the Deathmarks by themselves.

I get the gimmick with the Harbingers of Despair and a nightscythe, but by themselves I don't see the appeal.

I figured with two Deathmark squads, it would be able to cover more ground than with just one (usually, the Deathmarks in my games tend to die after they take a few shots). I wonder if I should just take a VeilTek instead?

Some Tomb World in some galaxy by that one thing in that one place (or Minnesota for nosy people)

A veiltek in a deathmark squad will do more then 2 deathmsrk squads

Why deathmarks with no despairtek the only reason to take them is to make the ap1 flamer wound on a 2+.

Why take wraiths without a destroyer lord?

Why no nightscythes?

Why tesla immortals over gauss?

Just why on everything really.

I find your list fairly solid actually. Although I agree that you should put a squad of Immortals in a Night Scythe to drop on the enemy objective.

A point I would make is to try Res Orb/Semp/Scythe Lords in you units as opposed to Crypteks. That way, each unit has a character that eats challenges, and can deal decent damage in most areas of combat, melee or shooting.

I like the list, but it could be helped with a veiltek

I'd encourage you to work in either a vehicle or a veil, or both.

I've found that mobility can be an issue if you don't have at least one of those things. Otherwise I like it.

Well, if I do run into a vehicle heavy list, that might be the way to go about it. Either that, or switch over to a 10-man Gauss Immortal squad instead.

Well, to add a Nightscythe, I would have to drop one of the Barges to fit it, but it sounds like an interesting prospect. I shall have to see about getting a Nightscythe to try it out.

Looks like most people prefer a Veiltek leading one group of Deathmarks. That being the case, it should allow for a full squad of Wraiths in addition, which is always good.
I thank you, Dakka, for all your input. It may take awhile longer before I have all the necessary components, but almost there.
