Having some extra models laying around and tons of bits I decided to do up some Dark Angels. I have not had a lot of experince with painting green, but I went at it just as if I was painting any other color. This is what I did, if you have any tips or anything like that please feel free to let me know!

Primer: Chaos Black
Base Coat: Caliban Green
Wash: Nuln Oil (I used this over the whole model)
1st Highlight: Snot Green
2nd Highlight: Goblin Green
Basing: Stirland Mud

Is the one with the running legs smaller than the other one or is it just the perspective of the photo?

It is just the photo. The one that is running is slightly further back than the one standing.

One suggestion I would make is to paint the rims of your bases a different color than black. A nice tan color might look good with the dark brown mud. You could also maybe highlight/drybrush the stirland mud just a tiny bit to make the tips stick out more. Other than that, I think they look good and simple. I like em. Well done!

Great stuff. Nothing to complain about. Shoot, I can't even think of any constructive criticism.

The second set of photos looks so much better. And the mold lines do get a sad face.
