Hi, here's a look at a back ground test before i complete my Dreadnought and my new better camera arrives
Please leave comments on which back ground works it will be greatly aprreciated.

That's some great work, right there. Reminds me of the old Battletech Rifleman, for some reason.

If there was a criticism, I would say that there's a bit too much yellow in that green. As I understand it, the Dark Angels green is a hue darker.

But, it looks great.

However, didn't the Dark Angels wear black during the Heresy era?

I just took a look at this again, cause I really like it, and just noticed the Dreadnought's ... um, winged sword. Just had to laugh.

Thanks for brightening an otherwise dark day.

I like the top background really cool for taking pics!

I like the model but dislike the pose,
For some reason, the way it's stood seems rather prancy and less Dreadnought. Maybe it's that both weapons point together on a turn, during a stride, I dunno.

ye im a little unsure of the weapons to mate but the where all i had left over after doing my imperial fist contemptor... ! i may cut them off make them a little shorter thanks for the comment i appreciate it ! any thoughts on which background to use..?

Backgrounds 2-4 give decent contrast without introducing much external color. I think they work best (personally, I'm partial to #2), especially considering the relatively muted scheme and dim lighting. Speaking of which, I highly recommend adding another lamp to your lighting setup, both to increase overall brightness and to get rid of those shadows on your backdrop - if you're upgrading your camera and backdrop, might as well go all the way.

Oh, lovely model, by the way. Potential scheme vs. fluff issues aside, the shading is silky smooth. Airbrush work, I assume?

Thanks man ye these are just test shots i have a 3 light set up to get rid of shadow ... Ye i'm leaning more towards number two myself.Tthe body and lower legs are air brush the rest is paint brush.. thanks man it's great to get some indepth feed bck really appreciate it many thanks

Paintjob looks great! and I love the shoulders! but yes the previous comments are correct, Dark Angels wore Black and Silver during the great crusade/heresy.

Nothing to say they didnt find it, rebuild it, and spray it green post heresy.
This is the future, they might have paint that changes colour at the click of a finger.
Good job with the model regardless.

Absolutely agree that the paint is stunning, and didn't mean to downplay it with comments, just wanted to help out, I am kind of a 30k nut hahaha.
