Well here we go,

Ive had this model for a very... very long time now and well the base just isnt good.

So ill be posting from start to finish of how this project goes and what im doing! enjoy

ok heres a couple of shots of the base now ive sculpted the basic ground layout and shape with all purpose filler and added a few rocks

Got the basic stucture of the base finished with a few rocks and base coated it brown with a black undercoat.

Ok so got the base coat all nice and dry, now i can actually make a start on properly painting it!

I really wanted it to have a lot of plant life on the base as i remember in the books the pelenor fields was described as covered in flowered by Tolkien

Nice, I really like it.

It's simple but so effective and having a giant elephant esque thing on top will look awesome.

Got any photos with the model on it?

Only thing I might change, is if you have them, maybe add 1 or 2 more colours of flowers, just for a bit more variety.

Thanks, im going to make a few adjustments , and yes more different coloured flowered, though sadly i only have white and yellow. If you or anyone else know where you can get more please let me know!

Im doing the mumak currently so ill post a picture when its all done.
