I was just wondering if anyone else had noticed this gem? Missile drones are a measly 12 pnts per model. That is 12 points for two str 7 ap 4 shots, possibly the cheapest str 7 shots in the game at the moment. Last night we tested a suit spam list that included 32 of these bad boys with 16 suits (near bare bone, pods themselves) and obliterated wraith wing crons at 1999+1. The list could not stand up to 90+ str 7 shots per turn. So here is round about what we tested, please share your thoughts.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but GW just updated the tau FAQ and missile drones are only allowed by broadsides.A nd the shielded missile drones on the riptide. So 3 riptides w/ 2 drones each and 3 *3 broadsides w/ 2 missile drones each would give 24 missile firing drobes.
When someyhing seems to be too good to be true, it usually is ;-).
