Been painting Necrons for while (4 months) thought I'd try a flyer so why not try the new forgeworld model.

Sweet model man. How was the construction? Are the wing blades solid?

it was relatively easy, the quality of the resin from FW was abit naff, needed plenty of cleaning.

Looks good, I like the blue-grey combo. I like to see more detail in the red jewels, maybe a glow effect or some glint of white.

I have tried doing glow effects before but everytime i do, it just looks like i've splashed paint on the wrong bits of the model and it looks awful.
