I recently purchased a box of Great Eagles, at first I was afraid they would look really once I'd pained them, but I'm really happy with this one and it made a refreshing change to what I normally paint. At the moment I'm working on the base I'm hopefully going to put the Bilbo from the Escape From Goblin Town set on the Eagle's base to try and recreate the scene in The Hobbit. And for the second Eagle I'm going to try and convert a Gandalf so that he can sit on the Eagle's neck any ideas on how I can create this?

The head of the Eagle, probably the most tedious bit.

The feet which were also really annoying, mostly because I hate applying several layers to get a strong color.

The whole body. The feathers were really simple to paint and I think the overall look is pretty cool!
