Hey there Dakka, So i recently got back into 40k and am Stationed at Fort Drum NY and was hoping there are other Dakkaites out there that might be up for some games either at a FLGS or at the B's or Nearby, I do have a full 8 by 8 board worth of cities of death terrain and 3 functioning armies so if there are any members out there who are looking for some pick up games just at a friendly level by all means shoot me a PM or post.

Wow, that's out there. There is a reasonable amount of 40k in the glens falls/ capital district, and I know there are a few people who have been looking out near buffalo, but any of that is going to be a drive for you.

I try to chime in whenever someone is looking for a game in New York, but don't think I can offer you any advice, sorry.

I was stationed there in early 2000's. We used to go down to Syracuse on play a lot on the weekends, I can't remember the shop, it was right next door to the spaghetti warehouse. Was a pretty cool joint.

Yeah, I used to game there in the early 2000's too - I drove down once a month or so to get a game at "Altered States" by the Spaghetti warehouse. It was a great store - they ran tournaments every couple of months if I remember right.

I play at at Play the Game Read the Story and bit is a great place with a decent sized 40k player base. They run tournaments every 3rd Saterday of the month now.

Hey thanks guys for all the posts, However going to syracuse for a game is kind of a hall, maybe once in a blue moon but I think over all that It is just too long of a drive to make it a steady commitment, however I can confirm that Play the Game, Read the Story is a good store.
