Hey Guys and Gals I'm running a HH campaign (sort of) with the guys from my local GW. After reading "Know No Fear" "Auraelian" and "Betrayer" I decided that I wanted to do a Gal Vorbak/Word Bearers army, so, here they are, the first 5 as always C&C welcome and encouraged

Time for some paint! , Here's my first almost finished member of the Gal Vorbak, also my first attempt at freehanding the Word Bearer's flaming daemon face C&C Welcome and encouraged from all more soon

I really like the freehand attempt, and I'm a big fan of the darker red. It does seem to lack much contrast though, which can sometimes be a bad thing. Maybe try brightening the silvers slightly, or use a brighter red just to highlight the armor panels?

Hey Dakka, I'm really sorry about the lack of updates at the moment, it's exam season now so I've been studying and such, and my hobby has suffered as a result, however, all my exams are now done, so hopefully I can get back in the swing and you'll see some updates within the next week/10 days

This is pretty cool. Loving these models, and JBrehaut is right maybe brighten the silver so you get a nice contrast
