You might want to consider adding at least a general "about the blog" paragraph, a few images of projects, or a teaser for a post or two. A wordless link is barely even advertising, and advertising posts devoid of content are generally considered spam. Posting a finished model and saying "here's a link to my blog that shows you how I did it," however, generates traffic for you and serves a purpose for the community, here.
