I cant find anywhere about it saying it has interceptor but am constantly told it has. It wont mention it has it in a 5thed codex as the rule wasnt around then. It says no where in the rulebook about it having it so maybe i havent noticed it in the faq's. What are people saying?

It doesn't. The Forgeworld Hydra Flak emplacements used to, but they were updated in one of the newer IA books and no longer do. So no, no Hydra has Interceptor. If it did, it would say so in the FAQ.

The FAQ would have to grant the interceptor to the Hydra Flak Tank due to the age of the codex and these being new rules and all. The fact the FAQ has no mention of the Hydra Flak Tank gaining the interceptor ability so therefore it does not have said ability. It does talk about granting the main gun skyfire and allowing it to ignore jinx, but no mention about interceptor on the gun or the tank itself.

So next time you hear someone saying it has interceptor ask them to show you the exact line in the FAQ granting this ability, and then show it to me because I too have not been able to find it.

Remember the Hydra in 5e? It was completely broken. If you gave it interceptor it would be auto take for guard, because NOTHING COULD EVER DEEP STRIKE AGAINST YOU.

To answer the question, no, it does not. The IG vehicles are a little tricky to figure out recently, because you have to reference the updates, and this can lead to some confusion. In the end, the Hydra did not originally have interceptor, and none of the updates gave it interceptor.
