I've been lurking around for a while.

Decided to create an account finally and just wanted to share my very first painted miniature.
I've never painted before so this was all new to me. I learned everything from tutorials online and youtube.

I finished few weeks back. It took me way too long as I've slowly been building up my tools and I'd run into roadblocks every now and then.
I think this one was done with about 8 different paints. So I already see a lot of places I can improve up on, I don't think adding white and black for different shades worked out as well as I had hoped.

So here it is, Archer Orc from the Bones line of miniatures.

Would appreciate the feedback!

Nicely done! A dark green wash may help with giving the skin some more depth, but besides that this is wonderfully executed!

I guarantee you that I'm not really as smart as the test says:

Looks good. Nice and neat. And I'm even a fan of the basing.

I agree with the above as well: hit the green with a wash and see what you think.

Thanks for the feedback, I'll keep that in mind for the future projects.

I did throw a wash on it and tried to do some highlights but I guess it didn't really show well on the pictures.
Think my light source was a bit too close so there's a shine, it has 2 coats of matte varnish though.
