I decided to take a break from my Chaos forces for a minute. The Sanguinary Guard have been calling me for weeks. I decided it was time to try. Here are some pics. I have the basic painting completed. I just gloss varnished them so they can get an oil wash in the morning. I think they are coming out nicely. The Standard is a killer; I am going to do my best to do it justice. Please comment, I am always open to suggestions from other artists and fans of painting.
