Hey guys...I would like some advice on what colour to paint vehicles that will match my army.
I'm building up a Guardians of the Covenant (Dark Angels chapter) army which uses leadbelcher (with runefang silver highlight and black ink wash) for armour...Mephiston red with earth shade shading on the robes.

Here are two images from my last two battle (out of a total of 4 in my career).
Just as a note, NONE of my models are entirely finished.

My concerns are:

1. I'm wondering if the robes should have a slighter touch of burgundy - the bright red looks great in some lighting but less so in others.

2. Questions: My vehicles are sloppily painted with Mechanicus Standard Grey and I was going to highlight with Dawn Stone. There hasn't been any shading or anything done yet. The based grey turned out a little bit lighter than I was hoping.
Judging by my picture with the Rhino + tacs...Do you think the colour works well with my army? or is there something I can do to blend the two more?

I thought it would look cheesy to have metallic vehicles but maybe not?

Thanks!

And any other tips for my painting in general is appreciated. It seems impossible these days to find time to actually sit down and get some solid painting done. Every time I'm finding myself rushing and base coating is looking really messy.
