Been working on this for the last couple of months but only in bits and pieces. Finally committed some time to bang it out in the last 2 weeks. The color scheme is indeed bright, but I wanted to have these 'nids be bright as bright colors are nature's way of saying "don't mess with me," athough with the tyranids, it's "Don't mess with me, but I'm gonna wreck you and everything else anyway."

Very nice. Bright colors are fine. It will show up great on the tabletop.
