Finland... the country next to Sweden? No! That's Norway! Finland is to the east! No! That's Russia!

I have been a member of the dakka forums for some years now, but I've never done a blog about my miniatures. So I decided to post pictures as I go on with my Eldar for the Armies On Parade.
Here are some early WIP pictures, and I'll get to my army more in depth when I get home.

EDIT: I can't seem to be able to upload more than 1 of the same picture on my smartphone...

Okay, I got around assembling most of my army, but since I'm limited to my phone, I can't take alot of pictures... yet

Sweet Jesus, Nurgle and Slaanesh in the same box!?
No, just Nurgle and Slaanesh, Jesus will be sold seperately in a blister.

Wraithguard with a power bayonet. The wraithguard are magnetized so I can seperate the torso from the legs. Heads will be glued on later.

very much liking the bayonet/glaive on the gun

"Pit Crew! Take this box out back, throw in a rabid Honey Badger and SET IT ON FIRE!"

If I were an Eskimo, I'd build my igloo next to a supermarket on a tropical beach.

I was planning something like this for the logo, but I'm not quite sure yet...

are you confident with your freehanding skills? That's pretty detailed... maybe simplify it down to a couple of Infinity Circuit icons that fit into each other?

I'm going to cut out the logo on paper, place it on the miniature and paint on the paper.
I would love freehanding them but simply don't have the time and inspiration for it... It's like painting eyes on guardsmen

ATM I'm planning some sort of webway portal for my Armies on Parade table, and have done a 2d sketch.
I need to plan this a bit more precisely, but this is the basic idea:

(Any suggestions on making the open portal effect would be appreciated. )

Edit: the picture came out sideways, and there's nothing I can do about it...
If you want to see the picture the way it's supposed to be, just bend your head a little.

You could cut a model in half as if it is halfway through the portal.

As for the portal, maybe a 2mm thick sheet of plasticard painted would do the job.

Anyways, keep up the excellent work!
