So I've painted up a couple test models for a potential tau army and can't seem to decide which one to choose. I like both and was wondering which one you guys thought might look better.

First up is this guy. His base would be probably like this.


Second is this one. His base would most likely be like this.


Thoughts? Comments?

Can't decide either: Both look good to me.
First one looks like Fal'shia, which has nice options for vehicle painting:

I like the green one better. The ability to be able to use a lime highlight makes it look really nice. It'll really stand out on the table.

Both are nice though.

Green. If you're going to push your highlights to such extremes, forest to lime green looks more coherent than burgundy to pink. At least to my eye, the green looks like a (compressed) single gradient, while the red looks like half a gradient and an extra color.
