The newest addition to my growing RG force, finally a leader to lead them into battle! As most of you can probably tell he's just a simple conversion based on a space marine veteran b ut I think he fits the bill!
As always and comments or constructive criticism are welcome

Looking good. I like the fact his rank is very understated, fits the RG theme really nicely.

I'd try black lining where the white and black meet as its looking a bit chalky. Also since you did the hands and the inner shoulder guard white, consider the fact RG vets often have the entire arm done in white

I'd suggest using lots of thin layers of white next time, building up from a light grey. The white looks very thick and there are plenty of brush strokes visible in there, not trying to be mean, just some helpful advice. Oh and make sure the last layer is dry before you apply another. Apart from that, model looks awesome

I love the pose and the weapons! It makes the model look dramatic without being overstated and ties nicely together with the paintjob.

Thanks for the advice and the kind words guys! While I did build up the white gradually in layers from grey I think I just need more practice at it and definitely use thinner layers too! My next post should be of a finished landspeeder and anyone who wants to see the rest of my force they are all posted in this section of the forum

Nice paint job and conversion work.

Love the model itself - well done on the content and posing!

I'd have to agree that the white looks a little thick and detracts from the overall look of the piece.

Took me ages to get white and yellow looking even half decent though so please don't give up!
