Great fun was had by all, it was great to see so many minis on the table at once amid some lovely terrain at Highlander Games. The victory conditions we used (normal The Relic rules) didn't seem ideally suited for 3 player multiplayer. I think a turn by turn victory point system with objectives could be better (maybe something like score 2 points for each turn you are holding each objective).

Asuramen's 2+ rerollable save (and 4++ and Eternal Warrior) was a nightmare. No amount of firepower would take him down as he walked through the ranks of believers. Sister Constance didn't even get to shoot or strike before she was killed by Swooping Hawks but was still a worthwhile addition for only 35 points she kept the men in line.

The Dark Apostle is fun and he can keep 2 squads of cultists in line for only 120 points (+45 for black mace) with his 6" command radius. The 3++ save is definetly the way to go if you do take him and you get rerolls for community support a lot of the time.

Getting out of the vendetta might have been a mistake, especially with the vector locked heldrake off the board but they did their job of finish off the troops.

Dave's Heldrake looked much better with the googly eyes. I was gutted he managed to hide my jape from you guys.

I am not a wargamer, nor do I play one on television.

That was excellent, loved the models, loved the report. As a big fan of unconventional battles like the "Three-for-all", it was way cool to see this played out. Keep it up with the uploads!

Cheers

Great report! Was a bit hard to follow at times (probably due to 3-for -all!) but was fun to read. Loved the annotations!
