Black Templar Recruit Undergoing Surgeries

Hello!

I'm a huge fan of the Black Templars, and like so many other players out there I despise marine without helmets on. BOOM, headshot!

So I make sure that ALL my marines have helmets. I have recently started to adapt 'High Marshal Helbrecht' but unfortunatly his body is ever so slightly smaller then an average marine; even though in the books he's depicted as a being HUGE!

So far I've cut of the original head, and carved down into his neck, so that the new helmet actually sits slightly below the neck guard. You cant very well see this from the photo however.
So those of you who aren't aware of how Helbrecht looks, here is a link!

I've attached the picture to the post so I guess it'll be at the bottom.

Let me know what you think?
Is the helmet to big for the body?
Also if you have any alternative ideas that still run with the helmet adaption!!

Cheers all!
Odinson

Basically, when the Space Wolves are busy getting smashed, the Blood Angels are busy arranging their hair, the Ultrasmurfs are busy boosting their own egos, the Dark Angels are busy being paranoid heretics, the Salamanders are busy setting things on fire, and the Imperial Fists are busy being pious, you can count on the Black Templars to get things done. Righteously and with no mucking around.

Looks good. If you're worried about him being a little small next to your other guys, stick a bunch of terrain on his base and prop him on top of it.

A grey knight helmet might actually work better though, the one with the breathing slit that looks like a cross.

Looks cool to me, if I decide to keep my BTs (depends on feedback with changes in new codex), I think I may get him and borrow your idea ;-)

Glad to hear your enthusatic about doing it too!

In respects to BTs in the new SM codex... thats a difficult question.
I've been pulling my hair out trying to create a fluffy (but at least a bit competitive) list and it nigh-impossible. The new BT chapter tactics (Vows, don't get me started!) are useful in CC, however we have been nerfed in CC and have no where near the RNG prowess of other SM chapters.

In respects to any CC player out there, we're all fighting against that fact that the game favors RNG teams.

Sadface.

Odinson.
