Hi all, posting on a comission piece I'm working on and would like some feedback. Haven't done non metallic in a long time(3 years)but said I would for this piece cause of the level he wanted it to. Most of it is washes and layering but would love to hear opinions from anyone. Enjoy

The metallic areas are fairly simply but with patience. First pick a base, I wanted a bronze look so starting with a yellowish tan. Think I used talarn flesh, then apply 2-3 layers of 50/50 watered down sepia. Next you will mix the tan color with yellow in 1:4 parts till you have a 1:1 mixture of bright yellow and tan/fleshtone. Note that you must decrease the amount you highlight on the raised surfaces towards a central light point.(5 layers is what I used in the final picture and hit certain spots with pure white for reflection) I'm going to gloss 2 layers on final touch and that's my NMM. Hope that helps
