Really like the concept of the dreadknight, hate the baby carrier implementation so I stuck on a new cab for a dreadnought sarcophagus. Really easy converstion that to my eyes transforms an ugly model into something quite nice. Ideally I'd have removed the other fist from the gun arm but that was way more work than I wanted as the gun is too long for a straight replacement for the forearm and has a big hole on the bit that mounts onto the forearm that would have needed a whole bunch of detail added to.

Please excuse the WIP paint job as I'm not much of a painter.

It is a nice change not to drastic Which I like. And if you didn't know, you wouldn't know that isn't how they look normally. I prefer the hand but that is just me.

Like what you have done with the sarcophagus, but if anything you should have removed the hand for the gun arm, not the one for the sword.

You have removed a 'degree of freedom' from that weapon by removing the wrist, reducing it's effectiveness. It now looks like a stabbing weapon rather than the slashing weapon it is supposed to be.

However, your work is certainly good enough to imspire, and for that you should be congratulated. Your conversion work is good, and your paint job does carry the effect of real metal.

Exalted!

"Ask ten different scientists about the environment, population control, genetics, and you'll get ten different answers, but there's one thing every scientist on the planet agrees on. Whether it happens in a hundred years or a thousand years or a million years, eventually our Sun will grow cold and go out. When that happens, it won't just take us. It'll take Marilyn Monroe, and Lao-Tzu, and Einstein, and Morobuto, and Buddy Holly, and Aristophanes…then all of this…all of this…was for nothing. Unless we go to the stars." Thanks guys!

The knights still have elbow and shoulder joint so can still swing the weapons, I agree losing the wrist costs some mobility but I can live with that.

I like the conversion work on the chest, very cool.

The paint job is fine - I would happily play a game against that!

(well, not really, those things are dangerous!)

thank you for sharing.
