Here is my copy of Great White Miniatures Abrogator kit that arrived in the post this morning. Purchased it on Thursday and two days later resin in hand.. Happy with that.

My first impressions of the kit are overall really happy. Small casting blocks (in sensible places), and no casting flaws at all.... Anyway here are the first pictures...

The kit cost me £15.00 + £3.50 P&P, which I think I quite reasonable for a quite large lump of resin....

Having test fitted the resin, it will need a little fettling. Width wise, it's a perfect fit, length wise, i needed to add 1mm strip of plastic card just behind where the hatch will be...

And remove some of the tread detail from the rear plastic component. (whilst working on this i removed the hinges for the rear door, as they are not required)

All the fettling done:

Here is the arse end of the vehicle with the resin in place:

This took about 45 mins from box to built... After that the entire vehicle got a green paint job:

Looking good!

A 1mm bit of plasticard is well within the skill range people using this kind of after market kit should expect to have.

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.

It went together easier than most, if not all the Forgeworld kits i've had to fight in the past..

Sorry, for all the extended and double posts, but i am trying to catch up with the build...

After the green was dry, the entire model recieved a coat of gloss varnish, followed by AK Interactive Worn Effects....

WHite was then sprayed over this, and once dry was removed using a wet paint brush.... A little mud later and....

All told this took 3 days, of which 3 hours were actually spent modelling.... (My OIC Domestic is a bit of a task master) A great little conversion kit, so much so, i have ordered another one, which should be here in a day or so...

Cheers
Mat.

Wow, that's really nice work. I'm glad this kit is getting some good reviews out there. It's responses like this that spurs a sculptor like me on.
