Amazing! Did you buy the ruins or build them?

I got the ruins from Petco - all fish tank pieces. I fixed the trees to the citadel crater plates....

I'd been eyeing up a few fish tank pieces but always thought the scale was a bit off for it to work. Thank you for proving me wrong!!

Fish tank stuff can be ace for building terrain with.
I've just finished a load of tyranid terrain using the mangrove and jungle roots from Algarde.
The main problem is the lack of variety and modularity within the ranges. Looks to me that you've used the same columns piece at least 3 times in your setup!!
Looks great though, good job!

That looks fantastic, great work! I intend to steal your idea with a quickness; I will be rushing out to buy several sets of those columns soon.

Well done - it all goes together beautifully.

Did you just wash/ink them or was there some painting involved as well?

I primed the columns/ruins black and just drybrushed brown and grey highlight to match the stone on my boards.
Took about 20 mins all told. Same for the tree bases (craters)...

Thanks for the encouragement, guys!
