Norway

So since I joined this forum I have the intent on sharing some of my ideas for the 40K hobby. Since I am from Norway I really like our own history of vikings and mythology and done a lot of research on this and I will cover several Space Wolves projects here. I like the curret GW models but they are in my opinion, a little quasi-viking like! But that is going to change and my goal is to bring out the authentic hard viking grit they deserve.

I been absent from the hobby for 10 years so I am a bit rusty, but I have a lot of ideas and I hope I can pull this off? Please dont be shy of sharing your thoughts on this....

I start out with a wolf lord on thunderwolf so here we go!

I start with the wolf and the only wolf from GW that is remotely cool is Canis Wolfborn`s wolf. So I found another wolf and it is the "snarling" Cyberwolf from Raging Heroes. This is a massive beast and makes GW thunderwolves look like puppies!
The wolf is made of resin and comes with a set of "space soldier" legs molded to the back of the wolf. The wolf by itself is amazing but the legs are just a disaster so I cut and filed it down to fit some riders legs. Did some small fur sculpting with green stuff/magic sculpt just to prepare for the legs.

More to come soon!
