So I have finished reading the promeathean sun and I loved it, so much so that I have dicided to build an Exodite army of Ibsen. The idea is simple, slowly I will build 2000pts of jungle type exodite,2000pts of desert type exodite and 2000pts of ice world exodite type as described in the book. With this each 2000pts worth will be built to terrain theme and as individual army style. Jungle will be a Siam- hann style list, desert will be Iyanden and ice will be a Aliatoc-Bieltan style.

So first is a Farseer complete of the Ice World group which is also counts as Eldrad

Pics looks good, though you need to do two things to make them better.

First, instead of uploading them directly to your gallery from your iPhone, you should upload the images to a computer where you can open them using Windows picture viewer. That program allows you to rotate pictures so they're right-side-up instead of sideways. Once you rotate them and close the picture, it should remain righted instead of sideways. Once you have them on your computer and right-side-up, you can upload them to your gallery. They'll be facing the proper direction at that point.

My iPhone does the same thing when I upload photos from it to my computer. I typically have to rotate them clockwise or counter-clockwise once (or sometimes twice when it's completely upside down) to get them facing correctly.

Other than that, put a white back ground (Piece of printer paper stood up behind the miniature) to help keep background clutter from detracting/drawing the eye away from the focus of the image, namely the miniature.

I can say though, now that that's out of the way, that the miniatures look stunning. Very well painted and pleasing to the eye. I look forwards to seeing more of your work soon sir.

so here is the photos of what else ive completed lately, first is a testmodel for the paint scheme test for theGhost warriors. The final product will probably be done with a desert stile base and obviously the arm joins greenstuffed and what not.

Also a test model for the gaurdians, its simply a kit bash of DE and Eldar im set on it as yet.

Next up is the Wraith Lords in progress still a final blend and highlight and the gems to complete for the first guyand a sculpt of knee caps and helmet for the second, again these guys are only tests. i think i may gofor four legs with my actuals

and the second, what i am testing if your wondering is basically how to achieve the pose, a clean join for the four arms and what a blend paint scheme looks like on a bigger model in these colours.

I like these guys alot but as an exodite wraithlord they really do need more of a predator look about them if they were to stay with having two legs, i have few guys interested in them for there armies so they shouldnt go to waste.

In the book they write about flying saurian creatures attacking through the canopy with eldar riders on there back, so ive dicided to build these into my jungle themed part of my exodites, in a game i will use them as counts as hellions.

Next up are my war walkers, these were modelled off what the novel discribes as a moving weapons platform, beasts who thunder through the jungle with unrelenting agression they will have all weapon types magnetised as I dont always use the double bright lance load out

i also noticed that this photo does not show the current work im doing today which is green stuffing leather straps on all the armour parts and back piece and a mind control unit in between the two horns. the base will also get abit of work to it with assorted foliage and grass

Next is a model that im liking alot its still being worked on but you guys can see the general gist, its a counts as flyer with an exarch rider, there are still body armour parts,leather strapping and muzzle to sculpt on top and a chain to put through the mouth and into the hands of the rider as the ranes. I see the base as being heavily foliaged with maybe a couple of Salamander and gaurd implaed on palm tree stumps

Next is my counts as Night spinner, I think this model looks completely badass, i will eventually have two of these as part of my jungle clan, all theres left to do on this guy is the base

Ok, next is my Autarch for the jungle clan, he just needs some greenstuff work on the hair and joins but this is pritty much him done, in a game he will be a counts as Autarch on bike with banshee mask, laser lance, fusion gun, jetbike and mantle

So you may have noticed the guy next to the autarch, this is not an original idea how ever i liked it so much that a had to do it for my haevy Jetbikes as it fits the disciption of what a suarian exodite rider looks like within the book. attached below is a couple of more progress pics of all my bikes, The heavy weapons are the only ones with the beefier armoured saddle

Next up is the first of many Warp spiders that i have planned to build, these guys are great in game which is no secret but i feel that they lack alot in the way of impressive posing as a model so i have started working on my own, these guys are a mix of wyche and heliion legs assorted torsos with DE weapons and Death spinner ends

These are amazing! I'm very curious what the overall lists will comprise of, have you already planned them out? I assume so, so you can build your conversions to fit the list?

Have you thought about doing any apoc stuff? I want to see a sauropod in this army too

If I do titans then I will use t- Rex and other bigger Dino's I think wraithknight has to be something smaller but not to small, I was actually thinking of using the above flyer model as one but obviously magnetise weapons to keep wysiwyg

Sauropods are the big plant eaters - like brachiosaurus and apatosaurus. They'd have to be apoc though

I think the wraithknight would have to be something like a rearing t-rex or a carnosaur - I can't think of much else in height that would fit on the oval base. The wraithknight is huge and spindly...

but anyway, keep up the good work

Carnosaur could work maybe as a wraith lord, in height I agree you need something quite tall, i was thinking of the giant pterosaur that the primarchs fight in the book at the end but I'm yet to find the pieces I need to make it

so finished my build on the flyer/counts as wraithknight. I have checked the height and its very close and actually higher than that of a kneeling posed wraithknight so it good to go. The exarch on top was really not doing it for me so i went out and bought a farseer and know hes it, i think he looks much better on top. I really wanted to build something simillar to what the primarchs fought on in promethean sun so thats really were i have modelled it to in regards to the saddle bits and muzzle and the choice for a farseer on top of him. I have to make a couple of dead salamanders for the base and finish off the muzzle but he pritty much done, any comments are welcome

So latest work, i have recommenced the painting of the jungle clan and this chap looks really dominant on the board, Ive named him Autarch Azrium, next for paint will be the 10 rangers.

HOLY CRAP SWEET JESUS! these are epic! Absolutely in love with the colour schemes and the model kit bashes! Just to confirm? your using eldar and dark eldar sets? (excluding obviously the beasts) I love how they look I think I might just have to give this book a read

the major components to the kit bashing is DE and eldar, as i wanted the flexibilty to play these guys as normal eldar or corsair or DE.

Below is the photos of both the Eldrad counts as model with the finished base and the first of two warlocks that will eventually find themselves attached to two Vaul D-cannon batteries.

I really like your Eldrad, its a good, sinister look.
As I saw the tatoos on your test-guardian I must admit to some amount of BRAVEHEAAAAART-imagery flickering by my minds eye. But I think it still works.

I'm also doing a Exodite army. I'm looking at using the old (prince Imerik style)dragons as Falcons/nightspinners, and the new current high elf dragon as Wave Serpents, as a sort of a Frost Wyrm-thing.,
I'm working a bit with the problems of mounting guns on those models tho.
It looks you've mounted guns on your counts-as Exodite-flyers wrists. Could you spill a few more pictures of that? =)

Also, your Autrach seems to be mounted on some kind of Manticore or something. Where've you gotten that monster from?
