I have been a long time reader of many blogs and have finally decided to have a go myself.

First a little about me, I started playing 40K in year 9 at school and after being very unsuccessful with Catachans I started playing Dark Angels and amassed nearly 10,000 points before calling it quits. I got back into 40K 2 years ago after a mate gave me a small Space Wolves army. I turned it into over 7000 points of awesomeness and use it to play several different ways. Then I got a Dark Vengeance box and tossed up between Dark Angels... done that, and Chaos. So I started a Chaos Army. I took a few pics, not nearly enough and thought Id put them up and start adding more as I expand the armies.

So my plan is to do a few different types Chaos armies and use them independently or together.

First using the DV set and a few extras a standard Chaos army but all painted different colours with only the bases tying them together.

The second is a small Egyptian style army using thousand sons and tzeench rules of course.

And lastly a nurgle army for comps, however as I'm not a fan of pus, ooze and what not so I have themed it as Spartans in Gold having Typhus as King Midas (touch of gold is nurgles rot, extra toughness and slow as made of gold, etc) I think it fits wel and allows me to really play with some kit bashing and conversions, which I love.

Lets start with a Hell drake a mate won at a tournament and let me have one two conditions, 1. Convert it, 2. He wanted to paint it.

Oh wow sorry about your necks guys, I dont know why they came out sideways???? and there a bit blurry. I must be doing something wrong.

So here is a Hellbrute I converted, like the lascannon and missile launcher combo.

And here is the chosen rhino I have been working on, I used baneblade sized tracks from Blood and Skulls Industry. It looks awesome!

Thanks mate, how do the pics look. They look fine on my 15" laptop, bit I've been told there a bit blurry. Also I wish I knew how to turn the pics around. They are the right way on my laptop, but when I load them they rotate.
