I posted a similar thread in the tutorial section but I see this may be the more appropriate place for it. I just can't get the consistency I want from my paints and I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I am thinning them i just am at a loss. i am I applying to much at once? Bad brushes? I just don't know. Thanks guys.

Edit: Typos, I'm using my iPad sorry.

Looks like a combination of things.

Your paint is a bit too thick but it also looks like you are leaving too much on the brush as well. Work on smaller areas and remember it should take multiple coats to get the color saturated enough.

Good luck.

Consider priming in white if you want bright colors.

I like my colors darker but I still want them smooth. No short cuts to quality I suppose. Thanks again guys.
