Nothing special going on here, just a super-quick table-top quality paint job. Well, I say that, but in truth I don't think I could have made it better anyway; I'm not much good at painting organic forms. I could have done some weathering on the armour I suppose, but I didn't want to spend any more time on him and it didn't need it as the armour is already quite "busy". A few more pictures here, if anyone is interested: http://soulsamurai.blogspot.co.uk/2013/12/khadorian-wardog.html.

Somewhere in the steamy jungles of the south...

Nice! Simple and effective - basecoats followed by a dip, I presume?

Also, kudos on doing the eyes.

Nice job, maybe a wash on the dog would have broken the uniformity of the dog some, just to uniform.

Thanks, yes it was just the basecoat colours and quickshade. I figured with this particular model I could get away with just shading and not doing highlights, as the armour is already rimmed with bronze it doesn't really need edge highlighting, and the bronze bits are so small and simple I don't think they needed highlighting. The skin (fur?) did come out looking flat, but I'm not sure if I could have gotten it to look any better without making a mess of it anyway.
