A couple of days ago I gave creating a hero hammer list a go. I was given feedback about Clan Raukaan and so went on BLs website and downloaded the ebook (boy those Iron hands are heartless b*stards!)... anyhow it made me want to extend my herohammer list to include SIX heros at 2k... no chap master the same...

One chap master with Gorgans chain and one with shield eternal can deal with MCs with no worries. The rest only need to worry about smash attacks, even then the MC will have half its attacks, need to hit, wound, get past a 3++, which is do-able enough to worry about but not the end of the world if I have to engage an MC with another chap master.
The idea is to munch everything in combat so not so worried about flyers.
Wont use this against a D weapon list.
Its a bit like a flying circus but sacrificing the flying part for harder hitting models and the ability to benefit from LOS in units.
Breakdown of chap masters;
All are T5 with 2+/3++, 6+ fnp and IWND. I1 unless specified:
#1 Eternal warrior, st8 concussive attacks at ap2.
#2 st6 attacks at initiative with rampage and ap3. Melta bombs.
#3 st7 attacks at initiative with blind and ap2. Chance of burning self. Melta bombs.
#4 st8 concussive attacks at ap2.
#5 Eternal warrior, 5+fnp (these may change based on wounds suffered), 2 ccws (+1a), choice between AoM, +2st (maybe +4), master crafted, ap2, or power maul attacks at initiative. Melta bombs.
#6 st 8 attacks at ap2.
Intentionally made them each a bit different.
Will 6 hard as nails chap masters rip apart enough of the opponents army to allow the bikes (with 2 tanking chap masters in each unit) and HIDING scouts to score end game?

There's only one change I'd make, though. And that would be to change the weapons between the two Raukaan Chapter Masters. The fella with EW should have the PF and the other guy should have the maul. I'm also not super excited about power mauls, so maybe an axe or a sword instead?

Good shout. But he'd need a lightening claw as well to take advantage of the +1a. So id trade the maul for a lightening claw, and swap the axe of mortalis to the other guy so he gets his fist.
Sweet! Now #5 can choose between st8 ap2 or st4 ap3 rerolling to wound. Whilst #6 gets AoM for st6 (st8 on hits of a 6) and one reroll to hit, plus keeping the storm shield.

I would do 4 CMs as bike AA SS TH and then 2 ToT eternal shield, and flaming sword with lightning claw.

Would work just as well... I just like the idea of them all being a little bit different from one another. Plus I get two EWs this way :-D!

Reminds me of schemes to pack in as much EW as possible into Herohammer lists.

Well if they can't ally, which doesnt fit with the fluff so im sure will be errated, you can count the primary detachments as white scars. Lose the IWND but everyone gets all the juicy scars CT. Same list used.

Hmm, all 6 CMs with hit and run heheh or salamanders for master crafted TH pf and stuff.
