Hi there!

Bought an awesome Sotar 2020 from Badger, also bought a badger air hose as I have always used an Iwata brush before. Little did I know that the connection to the compressor is different too!! (so much for standardizing...)

I need to find an adaptor that connects a badger hose to a compressor that normally accepts an iwata connection, before I order the wrong part I was hoping that somebody could point me to it, searching the web doesn't provide any conclusive information so far....

Appreciate the help!

Edit: If there is an adaptor that would connect my badger sotar to my iwata airhose that would be perfect too!

Not sure about the hose to compressor issue.

But here is the adaptor I got for my Patriot 105 to my Iwata hose.

Badger are the ones using non standard fitting, iwata use the same 1/8inch fitting that almost all other airbrushes use the one that darefsky linked should fit the bottom of the badger brush to make it compatible with standard 1/8inch (or iwata) hoses and accessories

It sounds like the other end of your hose is a 1/4inch when you wanted 1/8inch, they sell those too, but you can use an adapter.

http://www.everythingairbrush.com/acatalog/Adaptors___Regulators.html

This set includes a 1/4inch male -> 1/8inch female adapter that you could attach tot he 1/8inch output of the compressor which would allow the 1/4inch female hose fitting to go on. ...

Personally id go for the one that was linked in the above post, attach it to the bottom of the badger airbrush and use standard hoses from then on

Lol I had purchased the badger braided hose with intentions on using it with this pos air compressor I got at harbor freight and when the badger hose did not fit it I tried the one that came with the compressor to find it did not fit the airbrush...

How I got it to work was to use the original hose then put on the male to male adaper to that then put the badger hose on... Was not pretty but it works and I suppose it will act as a extension.

Why am I telling you this you might ask? Well because if you have the same compressor I do with the adapters that came with it you could go to a local store that carrys badger stuff and just get a hose and link the two hoses together. Ghetto I know but it is handy having the extra long hose. (lol)

Edit: Derp just read that you have the badger hose, well depending on what adapters came with your compressor you should be able to do what I did with great effect.

I have just had the badger renegade bought for me, and the thread on that is 5mm, but it came with an adapter to make it 1/8bsp which is the standard thread.

this is what you need.
