I have my huge Space Marine army built and I used DA markings cause I like them. I have a huge Ravenwing and Deathwing army as well (not just bikes and termies but Black Knights and command squads as well). I use them as DA, SM, and BA depending on what army I want to play. I wanted to paint them all the same color (Deathwing and Ravenwing would be the same color as the rest of the Marines) and thought of using DA dark green. But before I committed to that color I thought of actually attempting to do something fluffy for once so I thought about painting them as Fallen Angels. Does anyone know what the Fallen Angels color scheme is? Are there an pictures?

I don't know much about the fluff as it has never interested me. The only reason I'm on this forum instead of general discussion or painting forums is because this is a fluffy question. I also have the Cypher model and will use DA vet models with cloaks as chosen.

Well, I think they are black and still have Dark Angels iconography. That's how I plan to paint them.

Fallen angels are from the Heresy era and as such would be in the legions orginal black scheme

Here is a good army done in the Pre-Heresy scheme

Fallen Angels should in theory be painted black, as that was the colour of the Legion's armour during the Heresy. However, in almost all iterations, Fallen (and Cypher) are painted in the dark green of 'contemporary' DA. Whether this is just a fluff lapse from the GW painters, or whether the Fallen have intentionally recoloured their armour in order to hide is up to speculation.

The recent Cypher digital release specifies that those of the fallen who recanted against Luther repainted their armour green, though were scattered from Caliban just like their traitorous ilk after the battle.

So you've basically got two options; repentant traitors in green like Dark Angels, or more mercenary/self-serving/chaotic traitors in black.

Therefore, I conclude, Valve should announce Half Life 2: Episode 3.
