Here is our meet up.

Here are the core rules we have been using.

The Force
- Your force is built to 200 points, and can consist of 0-1 Elite, 0-2 Troops, and 0-1 Fast Attack.
- All currently released Codex material is allowed, including supplements like Iyanden and Farsight Enclaves.
- Forge World is not allowed.
- No Allies or Fortifications.
- You must buy whole squads. You may buy the minimum squad size (so, 5 Tactical Marines instead of all 10), and may not buy single models (so no single Harlequins or Lychguard), unless a unit is one model.
- No units may be held in reserve, so no Flyers.
- No vehicles with combined Front, side, and rear Armor of more than 33.
- You may outflank.
- Make sure there is a lot of terrain in the 4 x 4 board.
- Make sure to talk out all terrain saves and movement penalties.
- No psykers
- Roll warlord traits per GW kill Team rules.
- Roll the scenario per GW Kill Team, but the hill is only worth 3 VP or 6 VPs is you have at least half your force on the hill at the end of the game.
- Don't play turns, drop dice at 30 minutes of game play, start the game when the first player begins to deploy.
- No armor saves of +2 on any model
- At least four models must be in your force.
- Roll a leadership check each model at the start of the player turn when more than half the models are destroyed. The model flees if it fails.

Specialists
You mush choose any three models in your Force to be Specialists, but the leader may not be a specialist. These models must be noted on your army roster and may not change between games. Each Specialist may choose one of the following special rules, and you may not choose the same rule twice. The Kill team rules by GW list the 5 categories that make up your specialist group. I am not going to publish the GW categories because I don't want a C&D letter.

Adamantium Will, Armorbane, Blind, Counter-Attack, Crusader, Eternal Warrior, Fear, Fearless, Feel No Pain, Fleet, Fleshbane, Furious Charge, Hammer of Wrath, Hatred, Hit and Run, It Will Not Die, Monster Hunter, Move Through Cover, Night Vision, Preferred Enemy (everything!), Rage, Rampage, Relentless, Shred, Shrouded, Skilled Rider, Stealth, Strikedown, Stubborn, Tank Hunter

The Leader
You must nominate one non-vehicle model to be your leader. If a non-vehicle unit has a character in it (Exarch, Veteran Sergeant, etc.), they must be your leader. If you have no characters in your units, then the model with the highest LD is your leader. In any case of multiple eligible models, you may choose which is the leader.

You leader gets to roll for advancement after each game, gaining upgrades and new rules for the next battle, and the more enemy models he kills, the better chance you have at getting cool stuff for him!

All your models must be fully built, based, and painted to play in this event! No model may have more than 3 wounds and no save of 2+. We play no Psykers and no reserves. You may outflank.

Most of the questioners we will have will be answered in the GW rule set or the group can decide and we can post the rule here.

Thanks for the great games everyone. Would people like the stats posted on this site?

12/29/13 - Teddy overall
1/3/14 - Casey overall

Casey 3-3
Chris 2-1
Henry 3-3
Paul 3-3
Teddy 5-1

Stats of like each one, even the two we've played?

In general, yes, if you have kept track, that's always cool to see how players fares, like a league standing.

How is the first Saturday of the month work for players? We could make that the usual Kill Team date? Post up your thoughts.

Also, the GW rules say you can load any number of figures, up to the transport capacity, can start in a transport. The scenario that does not allow figures to set up within 3" makes you unload at the start. I ruled that only one could be deployed because the rule of deployment contradicted the transport rule. I still stand behind the ruling that the scenario, #2 Alone in the Dark, makes units deploy outside the transport. But, the transport rule allows units to load into the transport up to it's capacity, so that is a new way of playing that makes Rhinos, Trukk, and Raiders really powerful.

Awright, kids. Who is up for another go 'round of this?

Next Sunday, March 30th. Game Empire, 11 AM. I am in contact with Sgt Barker and I've a line on a couple other guys.

- - - - - -

For the MODs, we've planned on doing this throughout the year, every couple months or so. The thread necro-mancy was intended from the start.

There is no room for rules interpretations! Ban them all!

Hmm... I may try to make this but I certainly am not committing, if I show up I'll play.

8 players.

Ryan's five Necron Destroyers went for 4 Wins.
The rest of us, MikeFox, myself & Daryl/Oddworx, Michael K, Sgt.Barker, Teddy & Leo had various wins and losses.

Fun had by all.

There's a 5th Saturday in May. Although Memorial Day Weekend might pre-empt things, Sgt. Barker or I will be sure to resurrect this thread.

I had a blast, even though I was late. I will make the next one for the early set up. Hey, remember the mini RTT. I wonder how that might be? 1000 points?

For the time it takes one regular game with squeezed in 4 or so of these, so we might all try to commit to a Tuesday night. Dice rolling by 6 or 6:30, perhaps?

I'll will be better prepped for score keeping, if we want to go that route.

Otherwise, checking GameEmpire's schedule for an open spot (like Sundays). The more players that chime in, Ian, the easier it is to commit.
