depends what the meta is. i love medusa's but i only use the assault brigade list for zone mortalis as i like cheaper artillery offered by the siege list.
if you are determined to use the IA12 list you need to consider your troop choices strongly. Grenadiers or max out on infantry for the respawn rule. Thunderbolts would go well but consider that you will need something to face off AV14 first.
unfortunately ive got 2 x voss pattern lightnings - crap for 40k but better in 30k with the weapon options available
if a dolphin will jump out of water for fish, just imagine what it would do for chips?
How do you use your platoons? Like waves smashing a rock? I ask because I use my ccs with banner of martyrdom because it always gets nailed and I don't have to worry about giving away a VP.
I've got three medusa's but I'm not quite sold on them yet. They work a treat with camo netting behind two LR against my Ork players...how did they do against eldar?
