I wanted to share my latest project simply because I'm quite pleased at the progress. I've yet to do much on the paint job (I'm intending a black marble effect for most of the monolith, with coppery highlights to match my warriors, etc.)
The light job is 4 blue LEDs and 2 green ones that I've soldered into two simple circuits. I'd intended putting a couple of switches under the 'lith but lost them while I had my soldering kit out. It's ended up that you need to pull the batteries out to switch off, so I've made the entire back of the 'lith removable. It does mean that I can replace any busted circuitry at a later date.
I'm kinda thinking of raising the whole 'lith somewhere between 0.5 and 1cm on see through plastic legs so that the green glow emanates out of the slots underneath a bit more.....Do people think that this would count as modelling for advantage (not that I can think of what advantage that would really be...a 'lith is big anyhow!)
