hey guys I'm planning on doing some 40k luna wolves, a loyalist chapter using horus' geneseed. chaos gods curse them with slow mutation for using horus' geneseed, so I want to have slight warping on the more veteran ones, and I'm using chaos codex so I even have some chaos spwan kept alive 'cause the chapter master is sure he can save them. any who, im ordering bits to make some terminators, and am wonderinf if you guys think chaos terminator helmets would fit with what I said above.

I think the heads would look sharp. Maybe cut down the tusks so they appear to only grow a little

So you're planning on using loyalist terminators except for the heads/helmets (and presumably the chaos-specific weapons, since you're using the chaos codex)?

Hmm. Given the chaos helmets are clearly mutations of the loyalist helmets, this makes some sense visually. But it seems odd that _only_ the helmets would mutate.

Another option would be to randomly mix and match loyalist and chaos bits, but avoiding spikes and other overly chaos bits, and removing or covering the chaos icons.

actuely, this was what I was going to do with the shoulders and weapons. the bodies and legs I don't want to be too chaos, and I am not a good painter so don't want to have to paint tiny faces on one's crotch.
