Can't tell if that's directional lighting, or bad lighting. Other than that they look quite good, though I really dislike the spots on his skin. You could do with flattening out the white of the teeth and the main thing that irritated me was that in the 'standoff' picture, the bright blue ridged thing by the end of the left model's gun doesn't have any depth, unlike the one to the right, this should be sorted out. I also think the claws should be done a different colour to the skin, much like the hooves on your models, so a glossy black colour would look great.
If I were you, I'd have used a different spot colour to bright blue to help contrast with the model, because at the moment it seems to just blend in with itself. For example, with my Black Templars I use bright red to contrast with the black and white armour.. Also I like painting red.
Another point, on closer inspection of the hooves of your minis the one with the tongue sticking out, his back left hoof. The colour of his skin has bled into the top of the hoof. And hit your guns with a black wash, the grey looks very flat.
But other than that, I do like your models. I love the different take on the carapace, it's very innovative instead of 'ooh look there's some lines on the edge of it', and the starburst effect is very well done. I'd like to see you try to repeat it on a big model like a Tervigon, though, as the blending could be tricky (if you try to blend).
