Cool. Are you drybrushing the green over the blue? You might get a more subtle result by painting the green as a base, and then reverse/shading with blue washes. Less stark that way.

@Madocyw The way I do it is actually line highlights. I will post some WIP of each highlight, the picture had some bright overhead lights so I think that is why the bright edge green is so bright. Also that was the first model I painted in this scheme so it is a little bright.

Hydra Dominatus, Brother!
Are you washing your resin models before you paint them? The paint won't stick if you aren't removing the mould release agent.

@rhesusforbreakfast That is the best part of anvil minatures, the release agent is literally nonexistent, just a rinse in water and they are good

Aha, another recruit for the Legion!
Well this looks interesting. A tip is to make a blended layer of the blue and green before you add the pure green highlight, makes for a smoother transition and doesn't make the green stand in such contrast to the blue.
Good luck with your project.

I have a little hobby-thread going in the P&M section. Some say it's the best blog on Dakka, some don't agree, most belive it would be better if I finished at least one project some time this century and not just kept starting new ones.
Check it out, you just might like it.
