There will be a three round, full-day 1850 Warhammer 40k Tournament held on April 26th at Comfort Suites University in Blacksburg Virginia. This event is sponsored by Fun N Games Hobby Store.
There will be a $20 entry fee.

Rules
-No Escalation nor Stronghold assault will be allowed.
-There will be no Lords of War, but Imperial Knights will be allowed.
-Dataslates and Formations will be allowed. However, Dataslates, Formations, Imperial Knight Detachments, Inquisitorial Detachments, and Legion of the Damned Detachments will take up your Ally Slot if they are not your Primary Detachment. Please have the dataslate on hand in some form at the tournament so your opponent may see exactly what each unit does.
-Forgeworld 40k approved models will be allowed. No Forgeworld Codex will be allowed. However, you must email us if you are using Forgeworld units so we can approve which units you are using. These units must be from their most Recent Forgeworld Book.
-Any supplemental Codex will be allowed.
-Any 40k releases less than a month prior to the tournament will not be legal (Released after March 26 – Astra Militarum, Scions will not be in use, refer to previous Imperial Guard Codex).

Rule Alterations
-2+ saves that are re-rollable now will fail on a re-roll of a 1, 2, or 3 instead of the normal 1. Feel no Pain rolls may still be made afterward if the unit has them. This makes a 2+/2+ into a 2+/4+.




The prizes will be divided out as follows

-First Place (Player with the most Mission Points): 50%
-Second Place (Player with the second most Mission Points): 30%
-Best Painted: 20%

Prizes will be in store credit to Fun N Games Hobby Store. The Hobby store is within walking distance of the hotel where the event is being held

There will be no comp score.
Painting is not required for the tournament, but it is required to be eligible for Best Painted.
Best painted will be independent of the overall winner. It will be player’s choice that determines the best painted army.

There are only 16 spots. You can reserve your name down by emailing me, the TO for this tournament.

We will only be accepting cash on the day of, so please have $20 on hand (exact change would be preferable)

Other Information
Players need to bring a printed copy of their army list with any selections and options clearly stated.
Terrain and tables will be provided by Fun N Games Hobby Store.


Doors open at 9:00AM. Round 1 begins at exactly 10AM SHARP! So please, get there when the doors open.

Registration will close at 9:45 in order for pairings to be completed.
