I´m not experienced at all yet but I´d like these lists to be as competitive as possible.

Yeah, that looks about as good as anything else you can do with BA.

Could be decent. I'd combine the assault squads on the 1850 list.

Can sternguard vets on pod plus libby (terminator armor, divination) or Corbulo have a place in the 1850 list? something like 9 sternguard (say 2 combi-melta, rest normal bolters) by dropping a baal pred and maybe an Assault squad. Have to do maths.

I love the models and they might add some spice to the list but I have 0 experience with them. Suggestions?

Yes, I have a list build around 8 X sterngaurd 8 X combi-melta, Corbs, libby with SoS. Is it incredible? No. Can it cause some problems? Sure. The rest of the list is fragnoughts and jumper ASM and MM attack bikes.

This kind of list is really unfortunate for a CSM list counting on helldrakes to win it for them. Especially if one gets delayed on reserve rolls. By turn 3, most of my stuff is in HTH and inelligible for flaming.

Isnt 8 combi-meltas a bit too much? and I guess only normal bolters can use special ammo right?

No, combis can. Stormbolters can't. 8 combi-meltas is great! You can reliably kill any regular vehicle or cripple squads that rely on 2+ save W2. And you guys don't kill themselves!

I take note. The whole squad is 325 points and im not even counting libby/corby, but might be worth it against certain lists. For now I gonna get my first 5 men squad and think about the final loadout. Thanks for the info.

What about giving the one or both baals flamestorm cannons and outflanking them. I know that puts a lot into reserves though. I have had good results with them ouflanking then flaming everything on the sides of the table

STick with dakka baals. Flamers baals are suicide tanks. BA can't afford suicide units, ergo putting Corbs in the STernguard.

Termi armour libby can't fit in a DP with 9 Sternguard. Termi armour take up 2 spots. Drop a sternguard for him or drop him altogether and take Corbulo. 3+ 2+ FnP makes him a tank for anything not S8+

Yeah I didnt realize about it. I think I gonna pick Corby since I already own the mini.

Hoping there is no problem with having Corby, a sternguard squad and a fragnought all together. I really like the list as it is right now.

Yeah I thought about it and I like outflanking flamestorm baals but I´ve had bad experience with them (little exp tho) . AC is rarely a bad option and as Martel pointed out BA have too expensive units to even try suicidal stuff.

I run a flamer Baal pred and it dies every time don't try that. Everything else seems solid though.
