Ok
Hey to everyone... I've been reading the forums for some time now but never actually have posted anything but I have been building warhammer 40000 models for the past 8 years or so for now.
I've always wanted to get something shiny for my collection and few weeks back I ordered something.
Now cause this seems to be a hard build I decided to post for the first time and get some hints while I'm trying to get this together.
It's taken me 3 days just to inspect that I have all the pieces for the model and trim the extra resin of from the parts.
Here's the box what looked like when it arrived. Guess whats inside?
Lets hope the picture comes trough also.

Plan was to post pics all the time but I didn't have time so here's what we got now.
I modified the pilots from the originals cause they where just too... regular. They needed to have more GK in them so I cuted the bodies in half and used GK bits from the trunk.
I'll try to post more pics when I start the painting process.

I've been using power tools (mainly a dremel) on it to get it to fit together
It still needs some green stuff to fill in some gaps. The tail is the worst part atm and the right wing doesn't like to stay where it is.
Gotta say that this has been a hard build. I don't recommend it to anyone if you do not have patience.

The part on mine that I still need to green stuff is the nose cone.
I have a nice 3mm gap in the corner where it meets the top of the hull (by the antenna) Other than that it wasnt too bad. I do however wish I pinned the wings properly as I have had to take them off 3 times now and re do them lol.
Was an awesome feeling when I finally got it together and painted
Any plans on the colour scheme?

This is going to be in GK paints so shining / boring gray.
I was planing on keeping it simple whit some "burn" details on the bottom fusalage but I'll be open for good ideas as this is rather... big.
Oh yes... todays build was this
And I definitely need a better camera for this
