Picked up a copy of first edition Talisman, and what should also come in the box, but a batch of painted minis! Though the plastic case said "Talisman First edition", only two of the minis (not pictured) were Taliman figs. Here are the rest, any ideas?

Pic 1 These Slotta figs (ignore the dwarf, he's not a slotta) could be GW, but I don't know.

Pic 2 and 3 have cast-on bases, some look a bit ral-partha'ish to me, but I'm not sure. I thought I had the big vicar pegged as a Grenadier, but I was wrong there also.

Gui le Gros in the first pic, fat one with a wine cask strapped to his back. That's the easy one, good luck with the rest!

The dwarf in the far left of Pic 1 and Pic 3 are both from the Ral Partha Three Stage Character dwarf fighter set. No longer available as a set, but one can be found on Iron Wind - 03-025

The troll in Pic 3 is also from Ral Partha - a Cave Troll. (I used him as an ogre for many years.)

The bard in Pic 3 is again Ral Partha - and still available from Iron Wind (03-111)

A semi- guess on my part, but I think that the druid on the far right of Pic 3 was from a box set of player characters by Grenadier.

The bishop is by Reaper miniatures, and is named Brother Louis IV. (And is still available.)

Good work, you really are Auld! Don't seem like a grump, though!

Third one in is a Chaos Warrior. Looks to be from the range from about 1989, it's not either of the ones that were part of the Talisman sets.

The second set of minis look like the Talisman range from about the same time, Stuff of Legends has the Talsiman ranges so worth looking up.

Pic 1 # 3 Chaos Warrior is the middle of the bottom photo here (might be a head variant, the pic isn't too clear):

The Chaos Warrior in the first pick is an old GW Chaops Warrior champion/grunt.
The tubby friar next to him is Gui Le Gros, an old Brettonian character and part of a set of three.

Major kudos, I mean I've review probably more than 10^6 images for the gallery and I didn't know these.

Thanks for the help folks. You guys are on it!

Neat to find the origin of these. Very surprised to find that the druid is a Citadel fig. I guess that one will be off to ebay along with the Talisman assassin and Gui le Gros. Gonna have to keep the Chaos warrior though, he's too cool to let go.

The others will get a bit of sprucing up of the bases and join my collection of random fantasy minis.

Much Appreciated!
