Hello everyone. I am trying to figure out the red colors and the grey used on this model. The dark color looks like Scab red but I don't know the color on top. Also, is this a layering effect or a highlight? Would a wash work better instead of two different colors of different shades? Thanks!

I can't know for sure exactly what was done there, but if I were to try to replicate the red, I would do:
Base: Khorne Red
Wash: Carronburg Crimson
Layer: Khorne Red
Layer: Wazzadakka red
Small highlights of evil sunz scarlet

The reds:
Base: Khorne Red
Wash: Drakenhoff Nightshade. (Looks to dark to be Caronburough Crimson)
Layer: Khorne Red
Layer: Mephiston Red or Wazdakka Red
Highlight: Evil Sunz Scarlet
Glaze: Bloodletter
The blacks:
Might be Abbadon Black with various greys for highlights.
