Elite Tyranid Warrior

Hey guys, got my hands on my knight yesterday. Got it all assembled yesterday and the base built. Next is plenty of holes, scratches, gouges, green stuff and pustules. Here are some pics of it so far and I'll update it when anything much changes. Let me know what you think of the base as it's all I've really done so far.

Chees,
James

It's looking fairly smooth? or at least there's a decent section that isn't too damaged on top of the main 'shell" that goes over the pipes behind the head. I'm not sure if you intended the main 'cockpit" cover to be quite that undamaged and have so little nurgle on it.

I'm just trying to compare the less rough sections on the top and shoulder plates compared to the large pustules on the left shoulder plate, and I can't really tell how textured it is with the photos, but I'm concerned that the less rough sections won't show up as well as you'd like after you prime it.

Overall, looks good though

Looking good. Are you going to put some nurglings cavorting madly on it?
I reckon some chained rotting corpses would look good too.

Great work. I'm digging everything so far except that 3 skulled nurgle symbol thing on it's forehead. It doesn't blend in well and does not lay flat. Really liking the green stuff work too.

I've just picked up some maggot type bulges and some other bits. I'm going to add another layer of liquid green stuff to make the texture more apparent. I'm not sure what to do with the cockpit part. Everything I've tried so far doesn't look right to me. Any ideas guys?
