Deadly Dire Avenger

London

Hi all,

So I have been playing Warhammer and Warhammer 40k for the past 3 months learning to paint and getting into the game, so far I have been playing Dark Elves and Dark Angels.
while learning to paint on the two armies as well as some games while I decide what Army to forge as my main force and what game to play, I have finally settled on the Eldar and 40,000 obviously.

My store manager advised me to start trying out conversions and after having a look at the Farseer model I agree, so I decided for my very first Eldar model to change the rather bland and boring model into a Female Farseer.
idea being given from the Dawn of War games I use to play ages ago.

She has been made using the legs and base of the normal Farseer as well as the hand. The body is made from the front half of the Sisters of Avalon as well as the arm and the back-pack of the Dire Avengers as well as the Staff, the head is from the Dark Eldar.

So far She is only partially complete as I have just done the assembly stage. Still need to apply liquid green stuff, green stuff and tone down the muscle on the right arm, may add some more bits in time but so far that's all I have done.

As you can tell I have a fair few bits as I have been stealing bits and bobs from my Girlfriends models. The Farseer is called Kalshandra thus the username, and will be used when I am using a Farseer Warlord. I plan to do conversions on a fair few models
and hopefully they turn out well, unfortunately have no green stuff at the moment so will not be much progress on her till next week. So on too Dire Avengers!

You are part of a mystical, alien race. You bend the magic of the warp to be used in battle. The eldar are commanded by powerful, mystical leaders called farseers. You favour powerful heroes and stealthy units but if it goes wrong you have your powerful tanks.
