Hi, I'm looking for some inspiration to my space marine army. I'm looking fire a colour scheme. I know this should be a desicion by me but I've hit a wall.
I don't have a theme per se though lions will have a strong link to the army having created lion shoulder pads and a design to make my tanks stand out.
Any colour/colour combos are welcome though would prefer to avoid brit colours - I like the look for dark dingy power armour to bright, pink and flowery Automatically Appended Next Post: Come on, nothing?

I dont do loyalist but I'll stick a picture of my iron warriors in as an example otf the dark and dingy look. Have you thought of gold and black/silver, sort of a negative image of the iron warrior scheme.
Or maybe a "candy" effect. Light gold basecoat with a transparent ink over the top.

My best guess would be something very royal. Lions being associated with royalty and all.
I'd go for some really warm reds and golds, with highlights of yellow and pale gold. And maybe shading with a brown wash. If you've got cloaks and capes and whatnot, maybe do the inside a different colour for contrast. Sticking with the royal theme, I'd go a nice purple, almost a Cadbury purple.
If you're stuck, maybe do a google search of british royal colours. I came up with some interesting pictures to use as an example.

Thanks guys, yeah I did picture the lannisters when I designed the shoulder pads but thought the association would be frowned upon by other gamers

I reckon it would look great, I probably wouldn't call them the lannisters - but you can steal all their heraldry and colours.
