Seems Christmas came early for me this year...

I plan on getting more of the spiked Rhino prows that come with CSM vehicles so I can flesh out the spike racks on the back and shoulders; any suggestions so far?

Very nice titan you got there. Any chance you can take a pic with a ruler for scale? I'm just curious as to how my own counts-as Warhound measures up.

As far as additional embellishments, I think you're on the right track with spikes along the shoulder rims. Perhaps cut single arrows off of the etched brass you're using and run them along the bottom rim of the torso, pointing outward in both directions? The curved surface of the model makes it difficult to tack on a lot of GW bits. But perhaps some of the metal tentacles from the Maulerfiend would look good coming out of the mechanical guts in the arms/abdomen. Maybe the flayed but still living body of an Ultramarine suspended from the torso (front or rear) by chains around his wrists, a banner nailed onto him. Or hot naked daemonettes frolicking on the base. Maybe bring back those tentacles from earlier if you go with that idea.

Thank you! Though, do you have any idea what the 731 is a reference to?

I'm rather liking the idea of the tendrils! I don't have the Maulerfiend ones anymore, but I have some from the Chronos Parasite Engine that may fit the bill nicely.

Marks leviathan is amazing, I have one of the resin ones from his first kickstarter, a plastic crusader and Mortis along with a mini crusader. They are so detailed that it's hard to add anything without taking away from it, but you've done a good job. Do yo have any hobby chain that you could drape down from the bar under the cannons and attach skulls or victims from?

Is the 731 in reference to the Japanese unit that did the experimentations on Chinese up to and during WWII?

Haha you guys are reading into it too much. I just imagine some dark mechanicus dude saying that before pressing a large skull-shaped, red button that opens a hangar door for this titan.

Did some work with the tendrils, but I'd like clarification of what you meant with the spikes.

Actually, Moltar, Theo got it right!

And some sad news: turns out my LGS has closed down. The closest 40k place is now an hour's drive away if it's even still open, and outside of that I'd have to go 2 1/2 hours, pretty much halfway across the state.

Gonna add fluff and such for these guys later. Need to build my second cohort and get more things like mechatendrils to Chaos them up a bit! Tried to not go overboard, per Iron Warriors style.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Behold, the results of insomnia (and running out of proper spikey bits)!

I need to rework that guy when I get more bits; I'm not happy with that fin thing going on on his back. His Photon Thruster needs a better bayonet, too.

And how the family looks so far:

The second Photon Thruster Thallax got a slight re-do; what do you think? And should the axe-style bayonet stay, or traditional blade?
